We recommend following the dosage on the package. Directions for Flintstones products are:
Flintstones Complete Chewables, Plus Immunity Support Chewables, Plus Iron Chewables: Under adult supervision product should be fully chewed or crushed. Children 2&3 years of age chew
one-half tablet daily.
Flintstones Gummies, Sour Gummies, Immunity Support Gummies, Bone Building Support Gummies and Omega-3 DHA Gummies: Under adult supervision, product should be fully chewed. Children 2&3 years of age, chew one gummy daily.

Generally, any time of day is fine. We do recommend that you try to take Flintstones at the same time each day to develop a routine. Some people can experience some stomach upset due to the minerals in multivitamins. If this is the case, we recommend taking the vitamin after a meal.
Your body will absorb as much of the water soluble vitamins as needed (all B and C vitamins) and the excess amounts are excreted through your urine. Fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, and K) are stored in fat cells and in your liver. Your body controls the amount absorbed; you get increased absorption when there are vitamin deficiencies in your diet.
All of the Flintstones Products that contain wheat or wheat derived ingredients are labeled "contains Wheat" as required by the FDA. However, products not labeled as containing wheat cannot be guaranteed gluten free because raw materials received from outside vendors are not certified as 100% gluten free.
The Flintstones Complete formula contains aspartame. The aspartame masks the bitter taste of calcium found in both of these formulas. Sugar would be needed in large amounts to mask such a bitter flavor and would make the tablet too large.
The Daily Value of Vitamin D was increased to 50% more than the previous formula based on recommendations of the Institute of Medicine (IOM)†. The recommendation for the daily dietary allowance was increased from 400IU to 600IU for children 2 years of age and older.
